Managing medicines

For more information, visit the Parkinson’s UK website (last updated October 2020).

Medication management devices can help some people with Parkinson’s who have a complicated drug regimen:

  • Pill organisers: used to arrange and store medication, which helps make sure that you are taking the right medication and dose at the right time
  • Pill ejectors: used to push a pill out of its packaging
  • Pill cutters: used to split pills into smaller sections, which could make them easier to swallow*

*You should not use a pill cutter unless directed by your health professional as this could lead to taking your medicine outside of the terms of its licence.
